Wait Before the First Wash

Do not wash the car for about a week after install so the film can cure. Your installer will give you the exact time.

Wash Gently

Use a pH-neutral soap and a clean microfiber mitt. Keep a pressure washer at a safe distance and never aim it at an edge.

Avoid Harsh Products

Skip abrasive polishes and strong solvents. Remove bird droppings and bug splatter soon, since they can stain over time.

Heal and Inspect

XPEL Ultimate Plus heals light scratches with heat from sun or warm water. If you see a lifted edge or deep cut, call us and we will check it.

Questions

Quick Answers.

Can I use an automatic car wash?

Touchless is safer. Brush washes can catch edges.

Can I wax PPF?

Use products made for film. Ask us before you apply anything.

Every install happens in our North Hollywood studio. Wait in the lounge during a tint, or drop the car off and we’ll call you when it’s ready.
