The Short Answer
XPEL's Rivian program is a set of fixed prices for tint and paint protection film on the R1S, R1T and R2, installed by XPEL Authorized Dealers. Rivian refers its owners to Autograff in North Hollywood. Side windows and the Rear Window start at $550 on an R1T and $650 on an R1S or R2, and clear PPF starts at $2,000 for a Full Front. Every price is before sales tax.

What the Program Prices Look Like
The window prices are the same for every shade, so you pay for the film and the glass you choose, not for how dark the film is. Both films are XPEL nano-ceramic with no metal in them, so phone key, GPS and radio signals work normally. XR Black rejects up to 85% of infrared heat and XR Plus up to 96%.

You can also tint only part of the car. Front side windows are $200 in XR Black or $250 in XR Plus on every model. Rear side windows plus the Rear Window are $450 or $550 on the R1S and R2, and $350 or $400 on the R1T. Each model has its own page with a live price calculator: R1S, R1T and R2.
PPF in the Program
Paint protection film is priced the same way, and the numbers are approximate starting prices. The final quote depends on the coverage you pick.

A Full Front covers the full hood, front fenders, front bumper, mirrors and headlights. Rocker panels are $450 and door sills are $200 in Ultimate Plus, quoted with the rest of the job. What the Warranty Wording Says
XPEL says products installed through its Rivian program won't impact the Rivian New Vehicle Limited Warranty. That is the wording we use, and for anything beyond it, Rivian is the one to ask.
The film itself carries an XPEL warranty: lifetime for window tint and 10 years for PPF.
How a Visit Works
Our studio is at 7067 Vineland Ave in North Hollywood, open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Every install is done inside the studio, and we do not offer loaner cars. Typical times are:
- Window tint. Side windows and the Rear Window are done while you wait in our lounge. Adding the windshield or the glass roof is usually done in the same visit.
- Full Front PPF. About 2 days at the studio.
- Full Body Stealth. 3 to 4 days.
Many owners do the glass first and the paint second, or book everything for the same week. Our R2 tint and PPF guide goes through that order for a new truck or SUV.
Legal Limits
In California the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through. The rear side windows and the Rear Window can be darker on a vehicle with both side mirrors. The windshield allows a non-reflective strip on the top 4 inches. We keep this general here, and the window-by-window rules are on our California tint laws page.
