Rivian R2 Window Tint Cost: The Short Answer
At Autograff, a Rivian R2 with XPEL nano-ceramic tint on all side windows and the Rear Window is $650 in XR Black or $800 in XR Plus. Add the windshield and the whole truck is $949 or $1,199. Autograff installs through XPEL’s Rivian program, so these are XPEL’s published Rivian prices, and every shade costs the same.

Prices are before sales tax. The R1S uses the same prices as the R2; the R1T is $100 less on the sides and Rear Window.
What Is Different About the R2
The R2 Rear Window drops into the liftgate, so it is tinted the same way as a roll-down door window: film on the inside of the glass, and the window keeps working. The pop-out rear quarter windows are small and curved and take a precise pattern. The glass roof is one large panel over both rows, which is why many owners add roof film for heat.
What You Pay For
Most of the price is the film. XR Black rejects up to 85% of infrared heat, XR Plus up to 96%, and both block 99% of UV. The rest is the install: computer-cut patterns for the R2 glass, a clean in-shop bay and 2 to 3 hours of careful work by XPEL-certified installers. XPEL says products installed through its Rivian program won’t impact the Rivian New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
